Sangam Literatures are the source of insights into the culture and milestones in the development of human life. In proverbial songs based on love and heroism, they compiled the best of the remaining songs that had been destroyed by the ocean, termite, and the flood, and named it Sangam literature. Sangam Tamilians lived a life of luxury by setting up separate departments of five lands Kurinji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal and Palai lands and setting up separate flats for their inner life and heroic outer life. People who lived in each land had set up businesses and adapted their lives to suit that land. People in every land, they joined together and made their businesses better. Agriculture was the main occupation among them. In each land they adapted their way of life according to the social environment of the land. Food is the basic need for human life. They used new agriculture techniques to cultivate the land and increased productivity to fulfill their needs. They had two types of agriculture lands, wet and dry lands. Dry land agriculture was featured in Kurinji and Mullai. Wetland agriculture featured in Marutham and Neithal. Its significance is expressed in the Sangam literature songs

Detection and Prevention System towards the Truth of Convergence on Decision Using Aumann Agreement Theorem

    Get PDF
AbstractThe Detection and Prevention system against many attacks has been formulated in Mobile ad hoc networks to secure the data and to provide the uninterrupted service to the legitimate clients. The formulation of opinion of neighbors or belief value or Trust value plays vital role in the detection system to avoid attacks. The attack detection system always extracts the behaviors of nodes to identify the attack patterns and prediction of future attacks. The False positives and false negatives plays vital role on identification of attackers accurately without any false positives and negatives .Our system uses the Aumann agreement theorem for convergence of Truth on opinion based on the bound of confidence value, such that truth consensus will maintained, The accuracy of system will be enhanced through this methodolog

VLSI Implementation of Multi-Bit Error Detection and Correction Codes for Space Communications

    Get PDF
Data transmission in advanced space communications are suffering with the different types of noises. Further, these noises causeburst errors indata. Thus, the error correction codes (ECC) plays the major role to detect and correct the errors. However, the conventional hamming encoders, decoderswere detected and corrected only one bit error. Therefore, this work implementation the Multi-Bit Error Detection and CorrectionCodes (MBE-DCC) for multiple bits error detection and correction. Initially, MBE-DCC encoding operation is implemented by using generator matrix, which contains both identity bits and parity bits. Then, encoded code word is transmitted into the channel of space communication, where encoded data corrupted by different types of noises, errors. Therefore, the MBE-DCC decoding operation performed at receiver side of space communications, which corrected all the errors using syndrome detection, error location detection, and error correction modules.  The simulations revealed that the proposed MBE-DCC resulted in superior performance than conventional ECC method

Dentinogenesis imperfecta type 1-Shield’s classification (1973): a rare case report and literature review

    Get PDF
Dentinogenesis imperfecta (DI) is an autosomal dominant disorder that affects the dentin development. It is characterized by the presence of opalescent dentin, with dusky blue to brownish discoloration of the teeth. This condition is genetically and clinically heterogeneous; DI may affect only the teeth or it may be associated with the osteogenesis imperfect (OI). When both are associated there are various degrees of clinical presentation from mild form with less significant signs to severe form such as death in infancy. The most familiar classification system of this hereditary disorder is Shields classification which is of 3 types namely, type I, DI associated with OI, type II is not associated with OI. Type III which is also known as ‘Brandywine type’ DI.  This case report describes a rare case of 32-year-old female patient who showed the characteristic features of Shield’s classification type I with penetrance of defect through 4 generations.

Efficacy of Cereals and Pulses as Feeds for the Post-larvae of the Freshwater Prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii 

Two types of feeds were prepared using cereals (maize, bajra and Italian millet) and pulses (green gram, red gram and cow gram) respectively and fed to the post larvae of M. rosenbergii for a period of 60 days. The efficacy of these feeds on growth performance, biochemical constituents and energy utilization were assessed and compared with commercially available standard Scampi feed. Statistically insignificant differences were seen in weight gain, specific growth rate and conversion rate between control and experiments, and between experiments. However, significant differences (

Design and development of an instrument for non- destructive fabric weight measurement

    Get PDF
In this study, an image processing approach for fabric weight measurement has been proposed and tested. The system involves digital capturing of image using a microscope and then its processing in simple steps using image processing software (MATLAB). The study is conducted using a range of woven fabric samples. The fabrics have been conventionally weighed using an electronic weighing balance, and digital images of the sample fabrics are obtained and processed. The process involves application of suitable filters to obtain weft count, warp count, EPI, PPI and yarn crimp. The values are then substituted in standard formula to obtain the fabric weight. The study shows that the results of the proposed method of image processing, based on fabric weight measurement, are well correlated with the results of conventional method of measurement

Prioritization of the micro-watersheds through morphometric analysis in the Vasishta Sub Basin of the Vellar River, Tamil Nadu using ASTER Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data

The dataset for this article includes morphological analysis of the level to which groundwater potential of the Vasishta River, Salem and Perambalur districts of Tamil Nadu. The method for the computation of morphometric parameters using data Digital Elevation Model (DEM) of the Vasishta River, is also prepared using SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission) 90 m resolution data Morphometric parameter linear, aerial and relief limits, such as a bifurcation ratio (Rb), Drainage density (Dd) Stream Frequency (Fs) Elongation ratio (Re), Length of overland flow (Lg), Relief ratio, ruggedness number (Rn) and Slope (sb) of Vasishta Sub Basin (VSB). The relief ratio indicates that the discharge should be considered high priority given to the following micro-watersheds numbers 9,1,15,11 and 10. This data could be very useful to help with sustainable groundwater planning in any similar basins
